We recently announced our Summer 2026 platform. It’s the most ambitious release in our history and includes more than 70 innovative, new AI features. The list of capabilities isn’t what matters. What makes me most proud is that we delivered AI people love using. It’s not out to take jobs. It’s not spying on employees. They find excuses to use it daily.
Every line of code we write and every feature we spec begins with one question: “How will this improve work for the next billion employees? If we don’t have a good answer, it doesn’t ship.
The wrong question
Most of the conversation about agentic AI is stuck on the wrong question. People ask how much the technology can do on its own or how it performs on arbitrary benchmarks as if autonomy is the objective. It’s not. The objective is giving employees back time to do more work they enjoy.
A marketer who spends her morning wrestling with open enrollment isn’t doing the job she was hired to do. A sales rep buried in onboarding paperwork isn’t supporting customers. Mundane work is a tax on productivity. Jobs are a mix of work that matters and tasks nobody would miss. For decades, we accepted that mix as the cost of doing business.
We no longer need to compromise.
PeopleReign gives agency back to humans. AI doesn’t replace people, it does the work they hate doing. Every PeopleReign user gets four to six hours of productive time back per week. With that time, they become better versions of themselves: better parents, caregivers, partners, and friends. They pursue hobbies. They show up excited and rested.
What we shipped
Here’s what’s new in the Summer 2026 release, and the human “why” behind each capability.
Workflows is a visual canvas for designing and automating employee service tasks across the systems companies already use, including ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and HR platforms like Workday, UKG, and SuccessFactors. Automation workflows that took hours for experts to build are now deployed in minutes with natural language prompts.
The Action Script Assistant lets administrators configure complex integrations by describing what they want. Action scripts perform specific tasks like enrolling an employee in benefits or troubleshooting the VPN connection. When tedious tasks become delightful to complete, organizations find more sources of friction to automate.
Voice Mode lets employees talk to the Virtual Agent, hands-free, in their own language, and get spoken answers in real time. For a frontline worker without a keyboard, or for anyone the text interface didn’t suit, instant help and better answers are now a click away.
Deflection Genius now flags content gaps itself. It studies the questions the virtual agent couldn’t answer, finds the recurring ones, and recommends what to fix. The system self-improves because it notices where it wasn’t helpful, not because someone spent a weekend auditing logs.
We also expanded our integrations with Jira Service Management, LumApps, and Unily, so accurate answers reach people faster across the tools they already use.
AI tooling is helpful, but there will never be a substitute for understanding how humans actually work. Every one of these features started with a customer story, a source of friction, and an ambitious human ready to do more great work.
Innovation can’t move faster than the speed of trust
A few weeks ago, at a customer town hall, someone stopped to tell me it was the first time in years she had not been late to her kid’s soccer game. Then she hugged me. I think about that more than any dashboard. The hours we give back don’t stay at the office. They show up at dinner tables and on the sidelines of playoff games and piano recitals.
All of the innovation is meaningless if AI doesn’t first earn user trust. In fact, innovation will never move faster than the speed of trust. We can ship incredibly powerful AI but nobody will use it until they believe it’s safe, helpful, and aligned with their values.
That’s what we mean by “human-first AI”. Automated decisions must be predictable, accurate, configurable, and helpful. AI must add more value autonomously as it is used more, instead of demanding more data to charge more for tokens and train models to benefit others. Human-first AI means when a person is needed because the AI isn’t helping, the system finds the right one using skill-based routing and provides coaching to help them deliver the best answer the first time. No employee should ever feel penalized because the AI didn’t know what to do.
The goal isn’t more interaction. The goal is better resolution.
See it in action
I’ve never been more optimistic about the future of work because I keep meeting leaders who are using AI to reinvigorate employees and create safe places where they can do the best work of their lives.
On June 25 at 9:00 AM PDT, I’ll lead a live demo of how agentic AI is being used by global enterprises today. I’ll show AI for employee service in action, share the customer stories behind every feature, and discuss what the best leaders are doing to build the trust real adoption requires.
Join me and an exceptional group of AI leaders. Then go change the 🌎.
